Christian Bautista confirms breakup with Rachelle Ann Go
Monday, November 12, came in as a shock for the fans of Rachelle Ann Go and Christian Bautista as entertainment columnist Ricky Lo wrote in his Philippine Star article that the two young singers were no longer a couple.
To confirm the news, Christian sent a statement to Ricky, saying that there was no third party involved. Aside from that, the couple had also tried to fix their relationship, but there were just things that were deemed irresolvable, thus leading to the decision to finally call it quits.
Before the news came up, people were surprised to see Rachelle without Christian when the former showed up at the concert of international singer Beyonce Knowles with fellow ASAP ‘07 co-host Jed Madela on November 6 at The Fort. Jed also courted Rachelle before.
“Hindi namin siya makasama, hinihintay daw niya si Justin Timberlake,†Rachelle candidly explained.
The following night, November 7, Rachelle and Christian were spotted together at a birthday party, looking happy. But unbeknownst to some, they were actually going through a difficult time in their relationship.
At the trade launch of ABS-CBN last November 15, Christian finally went public about his breakup with Rachelle, but refused to give out details to Entertainment Live. Instead, he just said that he and Rachelle are good friends and that there was really no third party involved.
Because of the couple’s refusal to spill the details, a lot of speculation began to pop up, like Rachelle being a “passive†girlfriend and, according to informants, she discovered something about Christian that eventually led to the breakup.
