MARIAN Rivera is in cloud nine. And why not? Her “Marimar” registered a very high 40% last Friday in the ratings game, making it the indisputable numero uno series on primetime.

Marian is now also in demand as an endorser. She just did the Maxipeel commercial with Kristine Hermosa and two more TV commercials are coming up soon.

But what’s this we hear that Kristine did some hanky panky while they were shooting the commercial that some advertising people found unwarranted? While Marian’s close ups were being shot, Kristine reportedly made faces. She cannot deny doing this as this was shown on the monitor and seen by a lot of people. Because of this, after the shoot, a lot of agency people decided to have their photo taken with Marian and not with her. “Naantipatikahan sa attitude niya,” someone who was there told us.

If this were true, did she do it because she’s feeling threatened by Marian whose “Marimar” is the number one show on primetime? Kristine also used to be a top drawer on primetime with “Pangako Sa’Yo” and “Sana’y Wala Nang Wakas,” but her new show, “Prinsesa ng Banyera,” is now scheduled in mid-afternoon where her competition is Yasmien Kurdi in “Pasan Ko ang Daigdig” and Nadine Samonte in “Kung Mahawi Man ang Ulap.”

About Marian, we’re sure she’ll get more endorsements now that “Marimar” is the highest rating show on local TV and she’s also doing two high profile filmfest entries, “Desperadas” and “Bahay Kubo.”
