Movie Review: Paano Kita Iibigin
We were able to watch the Piolo Pascual and Regine Velasquez movie Paano Kita Iibigin last night at one of the malls here in Cagayan de Oro. Well, my friend insisted that we watch the movie because he was quite curious as to how Piolo’s character managed to utter those infamous “I Never Got There” words.
The cinema house was quite full so our suspicion that this movie is great was all the more reinforced. We sat down and started to understand the inner workings of the plot.
Well, Regine plays Martee, a woman who was left to take care of her son after her lover abandoned them. Piolo plays Lance, a snob guy who keeps getting on the nerves of Martee and the rest of the cast. Lance was quite devastated when his wife died in a car crash, which he himself might have caused. This is when the annoying attitude surfaced and Lance couldn’t care less of what others think.
Anyway, Lance and Martee met and then Martee fell hard for Lance. The guy, on the other hand, is still haunted by his past and it seems he didn’t get to loving Martee in the process.
Well, Regine is still in her element. I mean her annoying element. I don’t know. Something tells me Regine’s acting is annoying. Piolo, on the other hand is giving a superb performance.
The movie is quite simple yet it is somewhat engrossing. My friend was in fact so affected by the movie that he drank 3 bottles of beer just to calm his senses. LOL.
Anyway, Paano Kita Iibigin is I think worth your penny. Girls can feast on Piolo’s amazing bod too.
